Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and dependable Class 5 Driver specializing in White Glove Delivery services. This role involves safely transporting and delivering high-value or delicate items to clients' locations, ensuring exceptional customer service and meticulous handling. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, and possess excellent communication skills to provide a seamless delivery experience. Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 5 commercial vehicle for local deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Execute precise loading and unloading of goods, utilizing equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Provide white glove service by carefully handling, inspecting, and delivering items directly to customers’ designated areas.
- Assist with moving heavy or bulky items within warehouses or client premises, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times and special instructions.
- Ensure all delivery equipment is maintained in good condition and report any vehicle or equipment issues promptly.
- Uphold a professional appearance and attitude, representing the company positively during all customer interactions.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, warehouse operations, or related fields.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling of goods safely.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures, moving techniques, and safety protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate delivery documentation.
- Reliable transportation to reach the starting point of each shift. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional service while handling valuable goods with care and professionalism.
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
