The Role
Client Service & Relationship Management
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients
- Coordinate client meetings and follow-up activities
- Manage client onboarding and account documentation
- Prepare meeting agendas and summary notes
- Maintain accurate client records and CRM data
- Respond to client inquiries with professionalism and empathy
Financial Planning Support
- Gather and organize financial information
- Assist in preparing financial plans and cash flow projections
- Support retirement, tax, insurance, and estate planning analyses
- Prepare client presentations and planning materials
- Coordinate implementation of planning recommendations
- Track client action items and planning deadlines
Practice Operations
- Manage workflows and service calendars
- Improve client service processes and systems
- Coordinate with external professionals including accountants and lawyers
- Support marketing and client event initiatives as needed
What You Bring
Required
- 2+ years of experience in financial services, banking, insurance, accounting, professional services, or a client-facing administrative role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with technology platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred
- Experience in a financial planning or wealth management environment
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Knowledge of investment accounts, insurance products, and financial planning concepts
- CFP®, QAFP®, LLQP, CSC, IFIC, or willingness to pursue industry education
