Process Technician
Natures Crops International (NCI), a leading producer and manufacturer of specialty plant oils for use in personal care, dietary supplement, and food industries, has an opening for two (2) full-time Production Technicians at our oilseed processing facility and refinery in Kensington, PE. The Production Technician is responsible for the operation of our oilseed crushing (expelling) equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Equipment setup and operation
- Recording data
- Inventory control
- Equipment maintenance
- Loading and unloading deliveries/shipments and receiving seed
- Keeping facility clean
Qualifications:
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Strong work ethic, reliable, and a positive attitude is required
- Must be able to lift 25 kg (55 lbs)
- Training will be provided
Compensation and benefits:
- $21 to $23/hour
- 4 weeks paid time off
Additional information:
- Shift work required, Monday to Friday
- 84 hours every 2 weeks
