Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic team member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and ensuring a clean and efficient dining environment. Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems, for order processing and payments
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and addressing concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling responsibilities, including stocking supplies and ensuring proper storage
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Support team members in maintaining a welcoming and organized environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in cashiering or cash handling is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and basic math skills are beneficial
- Restaurant experience or background in the food industry will help ensure success in this role
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment and work well within a team
