Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dietary Aide to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals to residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met with care and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service or the food industry, with a strong focus on customer service and food safety. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures are followed to maintain food safety standards
- Set up dining areas, serve food courteously, and assist residents with their meal needs
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support the dietary team with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by attending to residents’ dietary requests and ensuring a pleasant dining experience
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food service and resident care
Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant, food service, or hospitality industries is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a caring attitude towards residents or clients
- Experience in serving or food preparation is advantageous, including barista or food industry roles
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to health regulations
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support the well-being of residents or clients
Pay: $24.05-$25.82 per hour
