Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting tasks
- Support budgeting activities by preparing relevant financial reports and data analysis
- Ensure timely data entry, record keeping, and documentation of all financial transactions
- Collaborate with team members to improve bookkeeping processes and maintain compliance with company policies
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
- Experience with payroll processing and related accounting tasks preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
