Sunny Site Colony School is located west of
Warner (from Warner, 13 km west on Twp Rd 42, 1.5 km north on Rge Rd 184).
This school has approximately 30 students in
grades 1-8 and is supported by two Educational Assistants and a second teacher,
who works part time (mornings).

The ideal
candidate will:

be prepared
to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs

be able to
deliver quality instruction for all subjects in a many-graded classroom
(primary focus is grades 4/5-8)

be an
excellent planner, with a solid understanding of curriculum and assessment
strategies, and have a strong literacy focus

have robust
classroom management skills, ensuring an effective learning environment

support and
collaborate with educational assistants

have
excellent personal, communication and organizational skills

be able to
deliver curriculum in a meaningful and culturally appropriate manner, without
the use of technology

cultivate
and maintain positive relationships with the German Teacher, parents and
members of the colony and the school team

be flexible,
creative, committed and able to work well independently, as well as contribute
positively to our team of colony teachers

seek
professional learning opportunities and engage in the ongoing growth of their
professional practice
The position
commences August 20, 2026, and concludes January 15, 2027, or upon
the return of the incumbent, whichever should occur first.
