Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our team. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and manage seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Process payments through cash handling and cashiering procedures, ensuring accuracy
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation when needed, adhering to proper food handling protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Manage guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in accordance with food industry standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on guest services
- Strong knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient order processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, billing, and upselling techniques
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations is a plus but not required
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of hospitality principles and guest engagement strategies
- Capable of upselling menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
