Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Full-Time Pharmacist to join this local Korean-speaking community pharmacy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert patient care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical products.
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physician orders and legal regulations
- Provide expert consultation to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Clinical responsibilities include but not limited to drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and medication histories
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify treatment plans based on patient needs
- Inventory management, such as ordering from wholesaler
Skills
- Experience in community pharmacy is preferred, but not mandatory
- Being able to communicate in Korean and English is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, and pharmacy law
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage prescriptions accurately
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Certification as a licensed Pharmacist in accordance with state requirements
Requirements
- Canadian Pharmacist license in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists of BC
- Injection certification
- Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll
- Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training
- Additional training or certifications (considered an asset)
- Korean speaker
Wage is negotiable based on experience. New grads are welcome to apply. Pharmacy manager will stay on site for support.

Hours and dates can be flexible.
Pay: $50.00-$53.00 per hour (+incentives for clinical services)
