Iron 97 Strength & Rehabilitation, a family-owned clinic in Vaughan, is expanding it’s team of skilled healthcare professionals and seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic registered physiotherapist to join our team.
At Iron 97, we take a strength-focused approach to rehabilitation. Our clinic strongly believes in combining evidence-based physical therapy with proper strength training principles to create long term results for our patients. We are looking for a physiotherapist who understands and values barbell strength training, can confidently coach foundational movement patterns, and incorporates progressive strength programming into rehabilitation plans. We prioritize education, movement quality, and sustainable outcomes over passive treatment approaches and short-term symptom relief.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Candidates should be comfortable working in a movement-focused environment that emphasizes long term results over passive modalities.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions and mobility limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Sub-contractor status.
- Part time work to start, with potential for growth.
- Currently looking for a candidate to work 2x/week - (Potential shifts are Mon-Friday 12pm-8pm, Saturday 8am-2pm).
- Online bookings, profiles, and SOAP notes via JaneApp.
- Full administrative support, including front desk management and direct billing
- Access to a private treatment room.
- Access to gym space.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of strength training principles and barbell-based movement coaching, with the ability to incorporate progressive strength programming into rehabilitation programs.
- Registered and in good standing with the CPO.
- Proof of valid professional liability insurance.
- CPR/First Aid certification.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience with JaneApp is an asset.
- Degree in Physiotherapy from North American accredited institution preferred.
