Responsibilities:
- Put your skills to work as you build and set footings, ensuring a strong foundation for our projects.
- Showcase your expertise in erecting and dismantling concrete forming systems, such as camlocks, burke clamps, and pilosio modular formwork.
- Construct and erect columns with precision, contributing to the structural integrity of our buildings.
- Play a crucial role in the safe erection and dismantling of scaffolding, ensuring the safety of our team and site personnel.
- Take pride in constructing suspended slabs, creating elevated platforms that elevate our projects to new heights.
- Shape concrete stairs with finesse, leaving a lasting impression on every step.
- Contribute to the construction of elevator cores, a vital component of our vertical transportation systems.
- Build sturdy retaining walls that provide both functional and aesthetic value to our projects.
Qualifications:
- Bring at least 1 year of experience in cribbing/formwork carpentry, demonstrating your familiarity with industry practices.
- Show proficiency in using a wide range of specialized power tools, machines, and hand tools, proving your mastery of the trade.
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings with precision, ensuring accurate execution of construction plans.
- Embody a motivated and hardworking attitude, willing to put in extra hours and work on Saturdays when required.
- Thrive as a team player, collaborating effectively with colleagues and prioritizing safety at all times.
- Possess personal hand tools and a skill saw, reflecting your commitment to your craft.
- Hold valid safety certificates such as Fall Arrest, First-Aid, and Telehandler Forklift Certificate, which are considered assets.
- Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle, as transit may not always be reliable.
- Complete CSTS training, a prerequisite for employment. If you don't have this training, don't worry—we can provide it for you.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $32.12-$38.00 per hour
