Our client, is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead field execution on complex industrial projects within an active operating environment. This role oversees electrical installation, upgrades, and commissioning while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations. You will work closely with project and operations teams, leading crews through critical tie-ins and system integrations.
- Supervise electricians and subcontractors performing installation, modification, and commissioning work
- Plan daily activities, manpower, and materials to meet project timelines and operational constraints
- Coordinate shutdowns, tie-ins, and system isolations in a live facility environment
- Review drawings, specifications, and work packages to ensure scope clarity and compliance
- Enforce safety procedures, including LOTO and hazard assessments, and lead toolbox meetings
- Monitor productivity and quality, ensuring work meets applicable codes and project standards
- Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems, including troubleshooting issues during startup
- Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification
- 7–10 years of industrial electrical experience, including 3+ years in a supervisory capacity
- Proven experience in Brownfield or live operating environments
- Strong knowledge of power distribution, MCCs, PLCs, and industrial control systems
- Experience supervising crews in heavy industrial settings (e.g., bulk handling, mining, or manufacturing)
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and technical specifications
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and energy isolation procedures
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Electrical FSR designation
- Experience with commissioning and startup activities
- Additional safety certifications (First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space)
- Location: Delta, BC
- Work performed on-site
- May require shift work, overtime, and coordination of planned outages
- Strong potential for extension based on project needs
The estimated pay rate for this position is CAD $60 to CAD $90 per hour as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
