Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, presentation, and consistency
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of shortages
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
