Overview
We are seeking a skilled Commercial and Residential Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing components of both residential and commerical properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, along with leadership qualities to oversee maintenance operations effectively. Experience in facilities maintenance, and customer service is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as HVAC system checks, filter replacements, and equipment lubrication.
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking lots
- Cut grass and perform general landscaping.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
- Maintain detailed documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs professionally and efficiently
- Procure and purchase materials for repair and maintenance jobs.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance roles
- Mechanical knowledge of maintenance equipment, tools, and systems
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective teamwork and customer interactions
Requirements
- Some knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine repairs.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid Drivers License
- General Landscape experience
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
