Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Nail Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art, while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, attentive to detail, and committed to delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional manicure and pedicure services.
- Apply nail enhancements, including acrylic, gel, and dip powder nails.
- Create custom nail art designs based on client preferences.
- Assess the condition of clients' nails and recommend appropriate treatments and products.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in accordance with Ontario health and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection procedures are followed.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through exceptional customer service.
- Promote salon products and services to clients when appropriate.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and products.
Qualifications
- Completion of a recognized/accredited Nail Technician or Esthetics program.
- Previous experience as a Nail Technician preferred.
- Knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel, acrylic, and nail enhancement techniques.
- Strong understanding of sanitation and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong artistic abilities.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to handle nail care products and equipment safely.
