We are currently looking for a highly organized and motivated self-starter with the ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced law firm. The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of Real Estate transactions and Refinances.
Primary Duties Include:
Handling Residential purchase, sale and refinance transactions from start to finish; including but not limited to:
Engaging in all aspects of file management such as, ordering, reviewing and interpreting title and off title searches; preparing and responding to requisition letters;
Communicating with clients for information gathering and scheduling appointments;
Preparing emails, correspondence, reports, authorizations and directions, forms and various other documentation;
Performing general administrative duties such as scanning, filing, printing, photocopying, banking;
Answering the telephone, taking messages and providing general information to callers, preparing reporting letters;
Other duties as required.
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 3 year’s experience dealing with Real Estate transactions;
Software experience to include a strong proficiency in Word/Word Perfect, Outlook, UNITY, LawyerDoneDeal and Teraview;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (impeccable grammar and proofreading skills);
Detail oriented with the ability to: multi-task, prioritize, adhere to strict time-lines, be a team-player or work independently as required and provide exceptional client service;
Ability to handle a large volume of residential Real Estate closings.

This full-time position entails a minimum 35 hour work week with office located in Whitby, ON
Salary commensurate with experience
