Adept FilmWorks is a developing Greater Vancouver-based film and media production company preparing for investor funding. The company is being built around affordable, high-quality film, commercial, branded content, social media campaign, and original IP production, supported by lean production methods and emerging AI-assisted creative workflows.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from experienced production leaders who may be open to joining the company in a Head of Production & Studio Operations capacity once funding is secured.
This is not an immediate employment offer. It is an exploratory opportunity intended to identify qualified candidates for future leadership consideration as Adept FilmWorks moves toward financing.
**Position Title: ** Head of Production & Studio Operations
**Location: ** Greater Vancouver / Lower Mainland, British Columbia
**Role Type: ** Future full-time leadership role, pending funding
**Company Stage: ** Investor-preparation / pre-launch
**Anticipated Salary Range: ** $85,000$110,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and final funding structure
**Additional Compensation: ** Potential performance bonuses, project-based incentives, or future profit participation may be considered depending on candidate fit and company structure.

The founders role will focus on creative direction, original IP development, AI-assisted production workflow design, and strategic vision. The Head of Production & Studio Operations would be responsible for helping turn that vision into a practical, professional, and revenue-generating production company.
This role would be expected to help oversee production planning, budget management, project scheduling, client deliverables, vendor coordination, crew logistics, internal workflow systems, and studio operations as Adept FilmWorks develops its slate of client projects and original productions.
We are especially interested in speaking with candidates who understand lean production environments, are comfortable helping build systems from the ground up, and can work across both creative and operational needs.
