Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic individual to join our team as a door person and barback This role is essential in supporting our bar and restaurant operations by ensuring smooth service, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting bartenders and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
The job is for three shifts a week (Friday, Saturday and Tuesday) and are from 9pm - 3am. Valid Protec certification is required.
Duties
- Assist bartenders by restocking supplies, garnishes, and glassware to ensure efficient service
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including cleaning glasses, utensils, and work surfaces
- Monitor customer traffic and properly greet and check identification upon entrance.
- Replenish ice, beverages, and other bar essentials throughout shifts
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report any issues promptly
- Provide friendly guest services by greeting customers and responding to their needs courteously
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the bar area during shift changes or special events
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds when necessary
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
Pay: $18.50 per hour
