Core Responsibilities
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to recipes, presentation specs, and dietary requirements.
- Kitchen Operations: Safely operate standard equipment and manage banquet plating, buffet setups, and closing procedures.
- Quality Control: Maintain precise inventory records and monitor food/refrigerator temperature logs.
- Kitchen Management: Assist with special menu planning, ordering lists, and end-of-shift reporting.
- Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a pristine workstation while strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team Player: Capable of working seamlessly within a team or independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility: Availability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Certifications: Food Safe and Red Seal Cook Certificates are preferred assets but not mandatory.
- Experience: Prior line cooking experience is considered a strong asset.

Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Pine Lake, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
