Position: Fiberglass Technician

We are looking for a skilled Journeyman or Apprentice Fiberglass Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for performing high quality fiberglass, Gelcoat and cosmetic repairs on our marine equipment, while supporting overall service operations.

THE POSITION:
· Polishing, sanding, buffing, laying up and rolling fiberglass.
· Inspecting and performing repairs including imperfections, fractures and holes, spraying Gelcoat.
· Expertly blend and tint gel coats for seamless, invisible repairs.
· Use various power tools required to complete job duties.
· Maintain a safe, clean and organized work environment.
· Collaborate with Service Technicians and Detailers to carry out marine equipment maintenance.
· Removing and reinstalling hardware as needed for repairs.
· Handling chemicals, resins, and Gelcoats safely using proper PPE.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Prior experience in a marine dealership or setting is an asset.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Comfortable working with various power tools and repair equipment.
· Ability to follow orders and procedures.
· Good communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
· Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
