Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles and products.
- Maintain strict sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that meet client needs, enhancing their overall experience.
- Assist with front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and managing check-in/check-out processes.
- Upsell salon services and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and salon revenue.
- Foster a friendly and professional environment by communicating effectively with clients and team members.
- Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- Valid state cosmetology or hairstylist license required.
- Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio of work preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean salon environment.
- Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner that enhances client satisfaction.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus.
