Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Lead Hand – Hardscape to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can be relied upon to help keep projects running smoothly. Working alongside the Foreman, you will take ownership of assigned tasks, coordinate crew members, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, requires minimal supervision, communicates effectively, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Support the Foreman in keeping projects organized, productive, and on schedule
- Take ownership of assigned work areas and complete tasks independently
- Lead crew members and coordinate daily activities as required
- Install patios, walkways, driveways, retaining walls, steps, coping, and other hardscape features
- Read and interpret landscape drawings and layout plans
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and job site organization
- Identify and communicate site issues while helping develop practical solutions
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company standards
- Lead by example and mentor crew members
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hardscape installation experience
- Proven ability to work independently and lead others
- Strong knowledge of hardscape construction practices and materials
- Experience operating landscape construction equipment is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings
- Valid G Class driver's licence (DZ is an asset)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
