StoneCrest Hotels is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Recorder to join our growing team in Kamloops, BC.
This is a year-round full-time position working directly under the Controller in a professional office environment. We are looking for someone organized, reliable, and experienced in handling full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities for multiple accounts.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Card Reconciliations
- Government Remittances
- Year-End Preparations
- Financial data recording and reporting
- Managing multiple accounts and deadlines efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping experience
- Minimum 2 years of Sage 50 experience (mandatory)
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Professional communication skills
- Bookkeeping or accounting education considered an asset
Important
- Must have a valid Canadian work permit
- Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada
- No student visas or study permits
- This is not an entry-level position
