Roles & Responsibilities
Acadia is looking to further build our Water & Sewer teams with the following: Mainline Excavator, Pipelayer, and Topman
Mainline Excavator:
- Comply with all company safety standards.
- Complete all daily circle checks and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Safely operate Excavator in an array of Water & Sewer environments.
- Excavate trench in a safe, efficient manner.
- Work closely with pipelayer to cut grade, install pipe, and expose utilities.
Pipelayer:
- Comply with all company safety standards.
- Work with Mainline operator to cut ditch grade.
- Install a wide variety of pipe in various sizes. (PVC, HDPE, etc..)
- Install manholes, vaults, pipe fittings, hydrants, etc.
Topman:
- Comply with all company safety standards.
- Safely pass pipe, tools, etc. to team members in the trench.
- Rod & level experience to record elevations.
- Assist supervisor with site safety.
Qualification Requirements
- Have a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Have a clean driver’s abstract.
- Comply with all Saskatchewan’s Traffic Laws, Federal Regulations, and Safety Requirements.
Preferred Skill:
- Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Willing to train individuals with strong teammate qualities.
Additional Notes:
- Saskatoon based, but willing to travel.

- Overtime after 8hrs/day and/or 40hrs/week
