Funzilla Indoor Playground is looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and reliable team member to join our team. This position begins as a Summer Camp Counselor, where you will supervise and engage children in a safe, fun, and inclusive camp environment. At the end of the summer season, the successful candidate will transition into a Customer Associate role, assisting guests, supporting daily operations, and helping create an exceptional experience for families throughout the winter.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, has strong communication and customer service skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safety and guest satisfaction are essential.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervising and leading groups of children during camp activities.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of campers at all times.
- Planning and facilitating games, crafts, and recreational activities.
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Processing admissions, answering guest inquiries, and handling transactions.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility.
- Supporting birthday parties, special events, and general operations as needed.
- Working collaboratively with team members to provide an outstanding guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Energetic, dependable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the winter season.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.
