Cobra Diesel Performance is looking for an experienced Truck & Trailer Mechanic/ Diesel Technician to join our growing team in Abbotsford.
We are a repair shop specializing in truck engine diagnostics, repairs, and performance work. The ideal candidate is reliable, experienced, and able to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on class 8 semi trucks.
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed for repairs or upgrades.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot problems.
- Conduct welding tasks as required for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Communicate repair findings with service manager.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy-duty diesel trucks.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Experience with welding techniques for repairs or assembly tasks.
Requirements
- Must have own Tools.
- Minimum 2 -3 years Work Experience in the field.
- Valid Driver's License.
