Full Stack Developer:
On behalf of our Public Sector client, Procom is searching for a Full Stack Developer for a permanent role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Markham, Ontario office.
Full Stack Developer - Job Description:
You will work as part of the Application development and support team providing application development and support to our internal business partners. You will work closely with corporate clients on Web and application related installations, integrations, upgrades, development, and problem solving. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining several business applications and for developing custom code that will enhance the organization's services as required.
Full Stack Developer - Responsibilities:
- Provide full lifecycle support for the organization's enterprise applications and services, including development, configuration, implementation, integration, and maintenance.
- Design and implement web-based applications using Java (Spring Boot), RESTful services, Swagger/OpenAPI, SOAP, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle.
- Troubleshoot application and code-level issues using tools such as Postman and IntelliJ IDEA.
- Ensure application performance and availability meet defined service level agreements (SLAs).
- Manage and interact with vendors in relation to product support issues, enhancements, and implementation of changes as required.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to support planning, execution, and technical problem-solving across various technologies.
- Work with platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, SharePoint, MS Power Apps, and Power Automate.
Full Stack Developer - Mandatory Skills:
- Extensive hands-on experience in full stack development using Java (Spring Boot).
- Expertise in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with Azure and proficient in Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.
- Adept at providing application support and performing root cause analysis.
- In-depth knowledge of software design patterns and scalable architecture.
- Proficient with Eclipse IDE and experienced with Bitbucket for Git-based version control.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and web servers (IIS, Apache).
Full Stack Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript experience.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Familiar with authentication standards such as OAuth2, SAML, and Basic Auth.
- Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
