Key Responsibilities:
- Examine vehicles based on customer requests or concerns
- Perform basic maintenance, including changing motor oil, rotating tires, installing tires, and checking fluid levels
- Identify mechanical problems
- Perform repairs thoroughly and accurately in a time-effective manner.
- Ensure customer satisfaction at all times with professional cleanliness and procedures when customer vehicles are entering and/or exiting the shop.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain shop condition to professional standard.
- Follow Health and Safety Guidelines
- Have a positive attitude and promote a healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 Automotive Service Technician Apprentice certification.
- 3 years’ experience is an asset
- A team player who takes pride in doing the job right the first time, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn.
- A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle systems, tools, and procedures.
- Great communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
