We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Civil Superintendent to join our leadership team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage multiple civil construction projects from start to completion
- Provide leadership, direction, and support to foremen, supervisors, operators, and field crews
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors across active projects
- Review project schedules and proactively identify potential delays or conflicts
- Monitor productivity, labour performance, and project costs
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, drawings, and contract requirements
- Maintain strong communication with project managers, consultants, clients, and field staff
- Lead site planning, sequencing, and construction strategy
- Ensure company safety policies and WorkSafeBC regulations are followed at all times
- Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress reviews
- Assist with project planning, tender support, and resource forecasting
- Mentor and develop field leadership personnel
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of civil construction experience
- Minimum 5+ years in a leadership role (Superintendent, General Foreman, Senior Foreman, or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, underground utilities, roadworks, and site servicing
- Proven experience managing multiple crews and projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, and productivity management
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and civil plans
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Valid BC Driver’s License required
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and risk management
- Computer proficiency in project management and construction software considered an asset
