Overview
Manpower is seeking to recruit a Lab Assistant to join our client's team. The selected candidate will assist in the preparation, testing, and reporting of construction materials, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:

Prepare samples and carry out prescribed tests on aggregates, concrete, and asphalt

Record results accurately and prepare test reports and data sheets

Report on the non-conformance of materials to the Quality Assurance Manager and assist in corrective actions

Operate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment, including calibration when required

Ensure the laboratory area is kept safe, organized, and compliant with company safety policies

Provide support to site supervisors and respond to client requirements in a professional manner

Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager
Requirements:

Strong communication skills in Maltese and English, both written and verbal

Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure with minimal supervision

Integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

Computer literacy and familiarity with standard applications

Flexibility to work irregular hours when required

Valid driving license
