Come join our Western Valley Inn team! We are looking for Part Time and Full Time staff, position can start immediately. Experience preferred, however not necessary as training will be provided. Please note, we are located in Valleyview, Alberta.
Job Summary: Job Duties included, but not limited to -
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Clean a section of guest rooms as per Western Valley Inn standards and by adhering to safety measures in place. Sanitizing high touch areas in Guest rooms and Public areas.
- Make beds according to company standards and in a timely manner.
- Operates mechanized cleaning equipment such as vacuum and steam cleaner.
- Empty trash containers, remove filled garbage bags and dirty linen throughout the day
- Re-arrange and clean furniture to fit the standard rooms lay out
- Clean and stock housekeeping cart at the end of the shift
- Report any maintenance defects in guest rooms and surrounding areas to maintenance or supervisor
- Provide consistent communication with Laundry and Front Desk to ensure proper supply levels are kept within a reasonable working order
- Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service
- Must be punctual, flexible and able to work a variety of days, including weekends as well. Occasional night cleaning
