The ideal candidate is a skilled Electrical Estimator with experience in commercial and industrial environments. You are a self-starter who takes initiative, manages competing priorities effectively, and delivers accurate, timely estimates. You are comfortable working with incomplete information and can confidently assess site conditions, identify project requirements, and develop practical pricing solutions, including for projects where drawings may not be available. You possess a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and applicable codes, along with the ability to build productive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Highly organized and detail-oriented, you exercise sound judgment, communicate effectively, and approach challenges with a positive, solutions-focused mindset. You are committed to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
Our Must Haves

Minimum seven (7) years of experience in electrical estimating for commercial and industrial construction projects, with demonstrated involvement in projects valued from approximately $50,000 to $2 million;

Ability to develop quotations for service work, tenant improvements, and special projects based on site visits, customer requirements, and field conditions, including opportunities where formal drawings or specifications are not available;

Working knowledge of public-sector and private-sector procurement processes, including bid submissions, tender documentation, contractual terms, and compliance requirements;

Red Seal Journeyperson Electrician certification is an asset;

Experience using estimating software, particularly Accubid, is beneficial;

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams;

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
