We are looking for a Manager (CPA) to join our team and contribute to both client success and a positive team environment. Strong & Associates is a CPA-approved learning office, providing aspiring CPAs with the mentorship, coaching, and practical experience needed to progress toward their designation while working on a diverse range of client engagements.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Lead Client Engagements
- Manage assurance, compilation, review, and tax engagements from planning through final delivery
- Review financial statements, working papers, and supporting documentation to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable standards
- Provide clear, practical guidance to clients on accounting, tax, and business matters
- Serve as a key contact for clients, maintaining strong and responsive working relationships
Support and Develop Your Team
- Coach and mentor junior and intermediate team members as they develop their technical skills and confidence
- Review work with a focus on quality, consistency, and practical learning opportunities
- Support staff development by providing clear feedback and helping team members understand the “why” behind the work
- Promote a collaborative environment where team members feel comfortable asking questions and growing their skills
Manage Workflow and Delivery
- Coordinate assigned engagements to ensure timelines, standards, and client expectations are met
- Monitor progress and ensure deadlines are achieved
- Improve internal processes where appropriate to support efficiency and consistency
- Help monitor workload distribution to maintain a steady and sustainable pace for the team
WHAT YOU BRING
- CPA designation (required)
- Experience in a public accounting firm at an assistant manager or manager level is required
- Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting and taxation
- Experience reviewing engagements and supporting the development of junior staff
- Excellent communication skills and a client-focused mindset
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a structured and organized way
