Area of Specialization:
Must have Knowledge of different types of steel.
Knowledge of Blueprint reading to understand metric and imperial measuring for the cutting of steel
Knowledge of Forklift Operation, Dollies, hand trucks, strapping machines, pallet lifters
Specific Skills:
Cutting and Measuring material for orders; assist in shop production as needed (deburring, grinding, drill press)
Organizational abilities – very important
Spray Paint jobs for customers (Training available)
Operate various equipment to Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
Pick orders and stock, Weigh materials and goods, wrap, stack, and pack goods to be shipped
Store, maintain, and organize inventory.
Help out with building maintenance, cleanup, painting, snow removal etc.
Clean & organize Shop, shop supplies, job shelves, and paperwork on jobs.
Unpack and inspect goods received
Pickup and delivery of materials
