Our stylish modular homes are built in a 150,000 square foot climate-controlled facility in Barrhead, Alberta.
Northplex Ltd. is currently seeking a Full Time Building Maintenance & Tool Crib Attendant located in Barrhead, AB. This position is accountable for the maintenance, cleanliness and organization of the facility and the yard.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Issue, track, and manage tools, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain accurate inventory and usage records
- Inspect tools for damage and ensure safe working conditions
- Perform basic tool maintenance and coordinate repairs
- Keep the tool crib clean, organized, and secure
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering
- Perform general facility maintenance (minor repairs, up keep, troubleshooting)
- Assist with maintenance of production equipment
- Respond to maintenance requests from production staff
- Support preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure work areas meet safety standards and regulations
Requirements
- Equipment operation experience is an asset
- Valid Driver License
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools
- Proven ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety procedures
- Perform duties in an organized and productive manner in a fast paced environment
- Team-player with good attitude
- Must be able to lift up to a max of 50 lbs
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be comfortable working at heights
