Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Social Worker (RSW) to join our growing team. The successful candidate will reside in Manitoba and provide therapeutic counseling services to diverse clients experiencing mental health, emotional, behavioral, relational, and life-transition challenges.
This role is ideal for a clinician who values collaboration, inclusivity, professional growth, and delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and/or group therapy sessions
- Conduct client assessments and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions
- Support clients with issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationships, and life transitions
- Collaborate with community resources and interdisciplinary professionals when appropriate
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- Participate in supervision, case consultations, and ongoing professional development
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) preferred; BSW with relevant clinical experience may be considered
- Current registration and good standing with the applicable provincial regulatory body
- Minimum 2 years of clinical counseling or therapy experience preferred
- Must carry current Professional Liability Insurance
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, trauma-responsive, and culturally responsive practices
- Knowledge of feminist practices and decolonial therapy approaches
- Demonstrated understanding of anti-oppressive and client-centered care models
- Lived experience and experience working with diverse and marginalized communities are considered strong assets
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with virtual therapy platforms is an asset

- EMDR or other trauma-focused modalities
- Feminist and anti-oppressive therapeutic approaches
- Decolonial and culturally grounded therapeutic practices
- Supporting culturally diverse and marginalized populations
