Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprint reading, and industrial electrical systems. The Electrician will work on diverse tasks including renovation projects, contributing to the successful completion of construction and maintenance projects.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment in industrial or commercial settings.
- Work with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment to perform installations and repairs efficiently.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating or upgrading existing electrical systems to meet current codes and standards.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and troubleshooting techniques, including low voltage systems and PLCs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards to maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with construction teams or other tradespeople during project execution to ensure timely completion.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience working with hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring, PLC programming, and control systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in renovation projects or handyman work involving electrical components is a plus.
- Prior background in construction or industrial settings demonstrating the ability to handle complex electrical tasks safely and efficiently.
