Host/Hostess – UMAMI
UMAMI is a brand-new Asian fusion restaurant looking for friendly, organized, and welcoming Hosts/Hostesses to join our opening team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will help create a positive and memorable dining experience from the moment guests walk through the door. This is for a full time position of about 35hrs weekly.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and professionally
- Manage reservations and waitlists
- Seat guests efficiently and maintain table flow
- Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front entrance and host stand
- Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff
- Assist with opening and closing duties
Requirements
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous restaurant or customer service experience required
