We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a passion for working with young children to join our growing team as a full-time Physiotherapist in August 2026. This position will work in supporting children in a school-based program. The hours of work are 8 AM – 4 PM (Monday to Friday).

The ideal candidate:

- Brings a coaching mindset, with the ability to support, guide, and empower educators and support staff in implementing speech and language goals

Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct assessments and treatments of a preschool to kindergarten age group.
- Manage a caseload with a diverse and complex pediatric population and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, implement, and monitor integrated, child-centred plans
- Provide coaching and guidance to teachers and support staff to ensure the effective implementation of goals within the classroom environment.
- Gather, interpret, and use data to inform treatment planning and monitor progress
- Engage parents in planning, decision-making, and program implementation
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment by building strong relationships with team members and supporting a culture of teamwork and respect.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a Physical Therapy Master’s degree program from a recognised university.
- Registered member in good standing with the College of Physical Therapists of Alberta (CPTA)
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Experience working as a Physiotherapist in pediatrics with demonstrated success working with children who may have behaviours or disabilities.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must posses a valid class 5 driver’s license and $2,000,000 liability insurance.
- Must be willing to travel within Calgary areas.
Personal suitability NOTE: This position requires lifting and carrying demands that require the ability to bend at the waist, stoop, and twist frequently, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, the ability to carry and pull up to 50 lbs, and the ability to stand, walk, and sit frequently.
