Job Description:
We're seeking a motivated Cashier/Server to handle front-of-house duties while learning and training to become a Sandwich Maker and assist with breakfast prep. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone eager to grow in a fast-paced, family-oriented coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers with a smile, take orders, and process payments as a cashier.
- Prepare and serve high-quality drinks.
- Train on sandwich assembly, breakfast item preparation (e.g., eggs, pastries, and light meals), and kitchen basics.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and contribute to a fun, positive atmosphere.
- Upsell menu items and create memorable experiences for our guests.
- Assist with opening/closing tasks and inventory as needed.
This position starts as seasonal for the summer months, but we're open to extending it long-term for the right fit who aligns with our family vibe.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a cashier or server is a plus, but we're happy to train enthusiastic learners!
- Willingness to cross-train in sandwich making and breakfast prep.
- Flexible availability for shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., including weekends.
- Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating fun, engaging interactions.
- Ability to work well in a close-knit, family-run team Think collaborative, supportive, and drama-free.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to handle a busy environment with a positive attitude.
- Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain one).
