Duties
- Greet and engage patients with enthusiasm, providing personalized consultations on eyewear options and eye health needs
- Utilize medical terminology accurately to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and lens technologies clearly and transparently
- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and accessories that suit their lifestyle, preferences, and budget
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products, laboratory procedures, and retail sales techniques to maximize customer satisfaction
- Manage retail transactions efficiently, and ensuring accurate billing and record keeping
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care plans and follow-up appointments as needed
Experience
- Proven experience as an Eye Care Consultant or in a similar optical or retail sales role with a focus on eye health products
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to eye care, vision correction, and ocular health
- Dispensing experience is highly desirable for supporting lens fitting and quality assurance processes
- Prior optical experience including frame selection, lens customization, or optical lab work is preferred
- Demonstrated success in retail sales or sales roles with a focus on customer engagement and relationship building

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
