Job Summary
We are seeking an Appliance Service Technician to join our team! Ideal candidates will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, installing, and servicing household appliances while providing excellent customer service in customers’ homes. Experienced, reliable and skilled candidates are welcome to apply.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and representing a trusted local business in the community. Our team is supported by a full-time Administrative team who manage booking and scheduling, handle calls, coordinate parts ordering and payments, and provide comprehensive administrative support to technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair appliances (fridges, stoves, dishwashers, washers & dryers)
Install and test appliances
Accurately identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, costs, and timelines
Maintain tools, service vehicle, and inventory of parts
Follow safety standards and manufacturer service guidelines
Represent the company professionally in customers’ homes
Qualification and Skills
Proven experience as an appliance service technician (preferred)
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid driver’s license
Physically able to lift and move appliances

Competitive starting wage, based on experience
Compensation available on an hourly or per-completion basis
