In this role, you won't just sit behind a desk. You will be the face of our programs, bringing electricity, robotics, and bionics to life. You will split your brilliance between designing cutting-edge curricula, personally teaching high-energy classes for children aged 3 to 15, and coaching our students for global stages.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Architecture: Redesign, develop, and adapt engaging tech, electronics, and bionic programs tailored to different age groups (3–15 years old) in both English and French.
- Dynamic Instruction: Lead and teach active, hands-on classes in robotics, basic electronics, and bionics, ensuring a fun and safe environment.
- Competition Coaching: Prepare, mentor, and guide students to compete in prestigious international robotics competitions.
- Classroom Management: Maintain an organized, high-energy, and positive classroom atmosphere where every child feels included and motivated.
- Parent Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for parents, providing clear updates on student progress and competition preparation.
- Active Engagement: Incorporate physical movement, high enthusiasm, and dynamic activities into the learning process.
What We Are Looking For (Qualifications)
Education & Experience
- A degree in Engineering (Electrical, Robotics, Bionics, or related fields) with a passion for education OR a degree in Education with strong, proven technical knowledge in electronics and robotics.
- Proven experience teaching or working with children across the 3–15 age spectrum.
- Strong Asset: Prior experience participating in, organizing, or coaching students for international robotics competitions such as VEX Robotics, FIRA, RoboCup, or similar events.
Skills & Certifications
- 100% Bilingual: Native or professional fluency in both English and French (written and spoken).
- Certified Leader & Communicator: Official certifications in Leadership and Effective Communication (or equivalent proven experience).
- Classroom Management Expert: Strong understanding of group dynamics, positive reinforcement, and behaviour management for children.
