Job Summary:
One of our clients is currently hiring a Sheet Metal Helper in Richmond, BC. This is a hands-on role supporting sheet metal installation and fabrication projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal work, welding, or a similar trade environment and must be comfortable travelling to different project locations.
Job Title: Sheet Metal Helper
Location: Richmond, BC
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist sheet metal workers and welders with installation, fabrication, and assembly tasks
- Support cutting, measuring, and preparing sheet metal materials
- Assist with welding and metalwork tasks as required
- Load, unload, and organize tools and materials at job sites
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
- Travel to different project locations as required
- Perform general labour duties to support project completion
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sheet metal, welding, fabrication, or a related trade is preferred
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
- Comfortable commuting to different project locations
- Ability to perform physical labour and lift materials as required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely in a construction/trade environment
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field preferred
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
