We are looking for an experienced Agricultural Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in agricultural machinery and equipment, and will be able to diagnose and repair any issues that arise. Experience with John Deere equipment is an asset. The successful candidate will also be able to provide preventative maintenance on all types of agricultural and construction equipment, as well as provide technical advice and support to customers.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair machinery
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Perform service inspections
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
- Understand the principles of operation of diesel engines and other power sources used in agricultural and construction equipment
- Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
We are prepared to pay a competitive wage of $30-45 an hour based on experience. This is a full-time position with a benefit package. Normal hours of operation are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Overtime is paid after 44 hours per week. Benefits include a company RRSP plan with a 4% employer match and a full drug, dental, & health benefit plan.
