About the Role
Redrock Camps is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance operations and ensure our facilities, equipment, and camp accommodations are operating safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, leading a team, and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Have minimum of 5 years experience
- Lead and support the maintenance team in daily operations
- Perform inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and camp facilities
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize work orders
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues
- Ensure safety standards and company policies are followed
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
- Work closely with operations teams to minimize downtime and maintain high camp standards
- Assist with emergency repairs when required
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience in camp, industrial, commercial, or hospitality environments
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Valid Electrician Certification required
- Valid Gas Fitter Certification required
- Additional trade certifications are considered an asset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
