ABOUT US:
FSJ Tire and Graphics Ltd. is a locally operated automotive customization and service shop in Fort St. John. Our services include automotive window tint, paint protection film, vinyl wraps, ceramic coatings, polishing, detailing, and upgrades to wheels, tires, and suspension.
We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Automotive Tint, PPF, Wrap & Detailing Technician who takes pride in producing clean, professional-quality work.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The successful candidate will install automotive window tint, paint protection film, and vinyl wraps, and provide professional vehicle detailing services. This position requires patience, accuracy, strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Applicants with professional experience installing window tint, PPF or vinyl wraps will receive preference. Detailing-only experience may not be sufficient unless the applicant is willing and able to learn installation work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install automotive window tint on cars, trucks and SUVs
- Install paint protection film, including partial-front and full vehicle packages
- Install full and partial vinyl vehicle wraps
- Apply decals, graphics, stripes and vehicle branding
- Prepare painted, glass and plastic surfaces before installation
- Safely remove and reinstall required trim, handles, lights and interior panels
- Remove old tint, vinyl, adhesive and other materials without damaging vehicles
- Perform interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Complete paint decontamination, polishing and paint correction
- Apply ceramic coatings and other vehicle-protection products
- Inspect completed work for contamination, lifting, bubbles, wrinkles or installation defects
- Correct installation issues before returning vehicles to customers
- Protect customer vehicles throughout the service process
- Record vehicle condition and report existing damage before starting work
- Maintain installation tools, equipment and supplies
- Keep work areas clean, organized and safe
- Follow work orders and complete jobs within scheduled timelines
- Communicate material shortages, vehicle concerns or delays to management
- Perform other related automotive appearance and shop duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional experience with window tint, PPF, vinyl wrap or automotive detailing is preferred
- Experience in at least one installation area—tint, PPF or vinyl wrap—is strongly preferred
- Ability to demonstrate previous work through photographs, references or a practical skills test
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good hand skills, patience and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable using heat guns, knives, squeegees, polishers and installation tools
- Ability to safely remove and reinstall basic vehicle components
- Ability to follow instructions and meet production deadlines
- Dependable, punctual and professional
- Valid driver’s licence with the ability to safely move customer vehicles
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to bend, kneel, reach and work in different positions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and automotive products
- Ability to work in a busy automotive shop environment

SCHEDULE:
- Full-time
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- Day shifts
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturdays or overtime may be required during busy periods
