Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Warehouse Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. This dual‑role position combines hands‑on warehouse operations with customer‑facing sales support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and responsibility.
The successful candidate will be a skilled with shipping knowledge who plays a key role in maintaining efficient product flow, accurate inventory management, and a clean, well‑organized workspace—both in the warehouse and at the front counter. This position also provides coverage for sales staff during vacations and sick days.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment used to load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
- Fill customer orders and arrange the shipping using various platforms.
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functionality and report any mechanical issues.
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in building pallets for storage or shipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in operating a forklift and moving pallets with a pallet jack.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and best practices.
- Experience using warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment learning our products and systems to assist customers.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of how a POS is used would be an asset.
- Past experience with epoxy would be considered as a top qualification.
