Join us as a Field Sales Representative
The Field Sales Representative will play a key role in strengthen our retail presence by building relationships with retail staff, educating budtenders, and ensuring strong in-store brand visibility.
This role focuses on retail engagement, product education, store visits, merchandising, and in-store activations. The Field Sales Representative serves as the face of the brand in retail locations and acts as a critical feedback loop between retailers and the internal commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
Budtender Education & Retail Engagement
· Deliver product education and training sessions for budtenders and retail staff.
· Communicate product features, benefits, and brand positioning effectively.
· Build strong relationships with retail teams to drive brand advocacy and product recommendations.
Store Visits & Territory Coverage
· Conduct regular store visits across assigned retail territories to support retailer engagement and brand presence.
· Maintain consistent communication with store managers and retail staff.
In-Store Demonstrations & Events
· Coordinate and execute in-store demos, brand activations, and promotional events where permitted.
· Represent the brand professionally and create engaging experiences for retail staff and customers.
· Work with leadership to align event initiatives with product launches and promotions.
Retail & Product Feedback
· Collect market insights and feedback from budtenders, store managers, and consumers.
· Share insights with the sales, marketing, and product teams to support continuous product improvement and market responsiveness.
· Monitor competitor activity and provide feedback on market trends.
Retail Merchandising
· Ensure proper product placement, merchandising standards, and point-of-sale materials are maintained in retail stores.
· Support the implementation of merchandising initiatives and promotional displays.
· Monitor product availability and flag inventory or stocking issues.
Qualifications
· Education
· Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
· 1–3 years of experience in field sales, retail sales, brand ambassador, or cannabis retail roles.
· Experience working with retail environments and customer engagement.
· Prior cannabis industry experience is considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
· Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
· Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
· Ability to educate and engage retail teams effectively.
· Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.
· Comfortable working in a field-based role with frequent travel.
