Job Overview
Royal Healthcare Staffing is seeking compassionate and dependable Rehabilitation Therapy Assistants (RTAs) to join our growing healthcare team.
As a Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, you will work in long-term care and supportive living facilities throughout Calgary, assisting residents with rehabilitation and restorative care programs under the direction of the facility's rehabilitation professionals.

Compensation
- $28.00/hour (Weekdays)
- $30.00/hour (Weekends)
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with prescribed rehabilitation and restorative care programs.
- Support mobility, transfer, ambulation, strengthening, and range-of-motion activities.
- Encourage resident participation while promoting independence and safety.
- Monitor resident progress and communicate observations to the rehabilitation team.
- Accurately complete required documentation.
- Follow all facility policies, infection prevention protocols, and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
QualificationsRequired
- Graduate of a recognized Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant (RTA) program or equivalent.
- Current CPR/BLS Certification.
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred
- Previous experience working in long-term care, rehabilitation, supportive living, or healthcare.
- Experience assisting older adults with mobility and rehabilitation programs.
